NEW***J-2 a 1957 Chevrolet on a Chevelle chassis. Front suspension is big Chevy lower A frames with tubular uppers. Steering is Sweet Mfg power rack system. Front also has adjustable sway bar set up. Rear suspension is of the 3 link design on coil springs, using a torsion bar lift system with shock controlled rebound. Rear end is Franklin Quick Change with Gold Track center section. Have axles to run it open or as a spool. Brakes are 4 wheel Disc with adjustable bias for front to rear. There are jack bolts on all four corners. Transmission is two speed Muncie with reverse. Clutch is 5" triple disc with hyd throw out bearing. Car is being offered with two engines, one a stock Chevy block steel head 406. All machine work and assembly professionally done. The second is a Dart std bore 400ci motor with aluminum heads. (This is a compression motor that I have more invested in than I'm asking for the entire rig.) This motor is a full up professionally prepared race motor and is not for the novice. The motor was run three times, has maybe 150 laps on it…I am including everything that I have that pertains to this car. Scales, radios, springs, shocks, 32 dirt tires, many never been run, 12 15x10 and 6 15x12 wide 5 light weight wheels, various off sets. Also 7 15x14 Weld aluminum wheels. I have spare fenders, hoods, trunk lid and quarter panels. I have way too many items to list. … Included is a 1996 Haulmark G8 22T2-102 Trailer. Trailer will have new rubber to buyer. Trailer is in good mechanical condition but need painting. Brakes on all four wheels and are functional. Wheel bearings were recently replaced and old ones included. 12 volt wench also included…This car was run with DAARA and the National Vintage Racing Association for many seasons. Has been well maintained and is very competitive.

The race car and equipment was stored inside of a 2007 LA CARGO "FREEDOM" 7x16 foot Enclosed Trailer, Which was also stolen.
The Trailer: Serial #5TTBE16277D001946, white in color, equipped with tandem axles, a walk in door on the curb side and a
